Contacted CoolCar last week to fix our non-existant air con on our 2008 Ford Focus. Owing to them being exteremely busy I had to wait until today. Rob turned up on time and said that there was nothing in the air con system. He tested evething thing first to make sure there were no leaks, refilled the system, tested it and everything is now OK. I was told by my old mechanic that I had a leak in my air con system but provided no proof and as a naive customer I believed him.I found Rob through Google and his positive reviews I used his service and he lived up to my expectations. Did a fantastic job. Checked the system thoroughly. He explained everything along the way. Very impressed by the professionalism shown by Rob from the Reading branch. He had two cars to do and was quite happy to explain all the processes involved to confirm that the hardware was in good condition and that both systems only needed re-gassing. One older car and one more modern so same process but different gas. Can wholeheartedly recommend him and, by association, the company he represents.

These are the sort of people that I like to deal with. Straight talking, efficient and extremely helpful. Appointment made very quickly and they arrived bang on the window I was given, even though they encountered some heavy traffic! They explained the process very thoroughly and got on with it. 25 minutes later it was all done and my aircon has been working perfectly since. The price was a bit more than quoted, but that was because my car needed a huge amount of gas, so no complaints from me there! I would recommend them to my friends and would go straight back to them if I need their services in the future. Full marks!

I contacted Rob to look at my A/C as it stopped blowing cold air recently. One phone call and he booked me in the next day, arrived bang on time and got to work on my car. After 11 years the air conditioning on my Land Rover Discovery 3 was blowing out warm air. I considered buying a kit from Halfords but at £80 I thought the car deserved a full air con service at only £15 more.Rob and Tina turned up 10 minutes early, Rob was very thorough, he leak tested and then re-filled the system to the correct specification, he was happy to explain everything he was doing. Car is now blasting out cold air. Whole process probably took the best part of an hour.
