Super “COOL, CHILLED” out experience. Did both cars in a thorough manner. Found, double checked, repaired, changed parts (O rings) serviced and re-gassed my vehicle. Dave also fully detailed the process and workings of the system and functions of the AC parts acquiring new knowledge to better look after, see future issues and prolong the Vehicles AC System. Top class all around 10/10

Absolutely superb service by Dave, I’d had Two regasses by a large company and both had failed over a Two week period 😢. Even though they said there were no leaks at the time of the refills.Got Dave out to my house and job was done PROPERLY in about an hour 👍.He explained everything about the system and possible fault causes, very visual, helpful and NO Bull____. 👍😃.I Would highly recommend Dave to anyone No Stress, No Problems, New exactly what was wrong, JOB DONE 👍.Thanks again Dave

Cant recommend Dave enough. Explained i have some dry seals hence losing gas over time. incredibly knowledgable and cheaper than taking it to one of the big brands who just regass and can’t help with any issues. Added some sealer and gas and it’s icy cold now. Old school customer service.

Update….Unfortunately, the recharge didn’t last through the winter, first bit of warmth where i needed the air-con, it was dead. There must be an undetected leak, which I will now have to pay someone else to find and repair before trying again with a recharge.Original review…Had zero temperature reduction, sucked the last remaining old refrigerant out (50g), vac tested for leaks, re-filled with the recommended 600g of fresh refrigerant. Car like a fridge again, happy days, just need the sun to come back out again now!Very reasonable price.Thanks Dave 👍

Rang Dave to make an appointment for regassing our car’s air conditioning. He pointed out that there are different prices for gas, depending on the age of the car.On the agreed date, Dave rang to say he would be half an hour later. I really appreciated this as there’s nothing worse than clock watching when you’re expecting someone to arrive.He was very efficient and his rates are competitive. The best part is that the work is carried out at your home!A very pleasant, friendly and courteous man, I would recommend Dave.

After taking my car to Kwik Fit four times in a year to be regased and also spending £140 for a diagnostics at a local garage to be told it is the condenser £500 repair costs I found Dave and decided to give him a try, He spent nearly two hours testing could not find a leak so did a regas and leak additive for £100 the air con is very cold better then it has been for years Don’t waste your money at Kwik Fit they don’t know what they are doing or show any interest, Try Dave you won’t be disappointed

I contacted Dave from cool air conditioning as my air conditioning on my car wasn’t working. I explained I had took it to a garage for a recharge and they told me it had a leak so it couldn’t be re-gased after checking it.Dave offered advice on the phone,was very helpful and transparent with his pricing and said he could come round on Saturday at 1.30,he was here on time was very pleasant and approachable and very knowledgeable and explained everything he was doing.He checked my car for leaks and advised that he couldn’t see any signs of a leak on his equipment and he could put a sealant in for small leaks just in case but that would be an extra cost and he very honestly said he didn’t think it needed it and didn’t want to charge unless I insisted on it which advised against.Overall I was extremely pleased with the service Dave gave,he sorted my air con at home and was very reasonable and very professional and I would highly recommend his services to anyone. Thanks Dave and will definitely contact you again if I have any air conditioning issues with any of my other cars in the family.👍

Today Saturday 30th July 2022.Initially contacted Dave Roberts earlier in the week of Manchester/Bolton Area about a re gas and investigate a possible air leak.He did a vac test for 20 mins and everything held ok 😀.There didn’t seem to be a leak at all.ATS had advised me there was! Well I watched the gauges and in the 20 mins no drop whatsoever.I’m not even sure the lad even found a leak at all. It’s leaking take it to a specialist. Hmmmmm.Dave made sure the system was empty of gas and oil then put new oil and dye into the system and proceeded to re gas.All went well. Cool Air conditioning at last. Fantastic😀😁👍Dave Roberts is a Gentleman. A pleasure to deal with and got the job done. [Quality]I stayed with him throughout and he’s professional and I’d recommend him to anyone.He had the scales set up with the gas and I watched the correct amount of gas added. All digital you could see the system gassing up. My air con hadn’t worked when I bought the car years ago and a “specialist” told me it had a major fault so I lived without it for a long time. Following a recommendation, I had it looked at by Dave at Coolcar Bolton who quickly tested the system and diagnosed that there were no leaks and following the removal of the old refrigerant he re-gassed it exactly as per the car’s required volume and the Air Con started working perfectly straight away! I couldn’t be happier with the process and the outcome and would recommend Dave highly!
