I sent a request via online form and got a response within the hour. In about 12 hours later he and his assistant turned up on time and fixed my car in 30 minutes. Rob’s knowledge and skill was evident from the start, and he was very polite, informative and patient. I learnt more about Aircon technology in 30 minutes than I have in my entire life!Reasonably priced for the service, Rob had clearly researched my car’s history and had accommodated for it superbly.I would highly recommend Rob and Cool Air for anyone in the Berkshire area who needs their car re-gassed or assessed ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Rob came out to me on a Saturday morning and clearly had boned up on the correct oil and gas and quantities for my rare TVR, a car he is unlikely to have attended before. He took great care making sure paintwork was covered before leaning over the wings and clearly he is a man who knows his stuff as he explained to me the steps he went through to empty and refill the system. I felt very comfortable with his skill and he is a good bloke too, a bit of a petrolhead which helps, with lots of stories. I very am happy to recomend his service.

Rob visited me at home on a Sunday. He explained what he was doing as he went which is really good customer service. There was an additional issue away from the A/C itself which he voluntarily diagnosed with his computer and referred a couple of other companies to do some additional work. Contacted CoolCar last week to fix our non-existant air con on our 2008 Ford Focus. Owing to them being exteremely busy I had to wait until today. Rob turned up on time and said that there was nothing in the air con system. He tested evething thing first to make sure there were no leaks, refilled the system, tested it and everything is now OK. Very impressed by the professionalism shown by Rob from the Reading branch. He had two cars to do and was quite happy to explain all the processes involved to confirm that the hardware was in good condition and that both systems only needed re-gassing. One older car and one more modern so same process but different gas. Can wholeheartedly recommend him and, by association, the company he represents.

These are the sort of people that I like to deal with. Straight talking, efficient and extremely helpful. Appointment made very quickly and they arrived bang on the window I was given, even though they encountered some heavy traffic! They explained the process very thoroughly and got on with it. 25 minutes later it was all done and my aircon has been working perfectly since. The price was a bit more than quoted, but that was because my car needed a huge amount of gas, so no complaints from me there! I would recommend them to my friends and would go straight back to them if I need their services in the future. Full marks!
