Dave doesn’t cover my area but I was able to take my car to his house.After taking my car to a garage to be looked at and was told it was probably the compressor that had gone, Dave checked it out and kicked in. After checking a few other things the last thing to check was the relay and lo and behold it was the problem. Tested with a spare from another model car and it worked.Ordered myself a new relay which was a relief as didn’t want to buy a compressor.Dave was excellent and worth the visit too for him to diagnose the issue. Also topped my air con gas’s up at the same time.Thanks for your help Dave.

I contacted David about my faulty car air conditioning during the recent hot spell. There was a slight wait before he could attend due to being extremely busy, but fitted me in as fast as he could.He arrived on the appointed day and time and made a thorough inspection of the air conditioning system. He located the fault and arranged getting the spare part and fitting a week or so later. Once again Dave arrived on time and efficiently did the repair.The air con now works perfectly and Dave was polite, friendly and clearly is very knowledgeable about car air conditioning systemsI would definitely recommend Dave and his company

Excellent service from Dave, he diagnosed a split pipe in my AC system (after a local garage had told me it was the condenser and that they couldn’t fix or replace it!). A new pipe was ridiculously expensive, but Dave took the old pipe away and got it repaired at a fraction of the cost. Re-fitted it today on a Sunday, and aircon is working for the first time in months. Highly recommended friendly service.

Dave and Alison were extremely helpful over email with fast and useful responses, the first time I took my car down was for a diagnostic to see why the ac wasnt working in the first place, after a diagnostic Dave concluded I needed a new compressor.As I like to do as much work on my car as possible, Dave evacuated the system for me and told me all I needed to know to replace the compressor myself. after fitting the new compressor I took my car back down to have the ac regassed and checked over. from start to finish the whole experience couldn’t have been better.If ever I need my air conditioning fixing I’ll be coming straight back as my ac was and still is freezing cold, to the point where on the way back I had to increase the temperature in 20 degree weather, couldn’t be happier with the service.

I can’t recommend Dave enough. My A3 had lost cooling which turned out to be a corroded main pipe. Dave showed me the leaking gases using his diagnostic equipment and quickly found a pre used pipe and had it fitted a few days later. Alison kept me up to date on the charges which was a lot less than I’d have expected for such a big repair! A very happy customer.

Dave is a very friendly, polite, professional and helpful guy, who shared an interest in cars and was fun to talk with.He was able to diagnose an A/C gas leak on my Audi R8 which my Audi specialist could not. Using his advanced knowledge and tools, Dave was able to repeatedly pin point the leak and showed me, as well as explaining everything in a very easy to understand manner.This saved me hundreds, possibly thousands of pounds in labour to have a garage strip the car down front to back (rear engined) and find the leak. Under Dave’s recommendation I replaced both A/C condensers and Dave confirmed the original leak is no longer present when he returned to re-gas and fully service the system.I would 100% recommend Dave and will be keeping his number for all future queries.

Would definitely recommend and I will use again. Dave is very friendly and knowledgeable, he arrived early after checking that would be okay for me. He quickly diagnosed a small leak on the condenser on my Hyundai Getz but as the car is only worth £700 it wasn’t worth spending £200 on a new condenser. Dave re-gassed the air con and it was nice and cold and he offered to top it up in future when needed for a bargain price. Very happy with the service and outcome. Also have to mention great service and communication from Alison.

Dave came today to replace the leaking condenser on my BMW i3. The price he quoted was excellent, less than a third of the dealer price. He arrived on time and did an excellent job. It took him longer than expected as he’d not worked on this particular model of car before, being an unusual car, but he figured it out and cracked on unphased.The car went back together perfectly and is now blowing lovely cool air.Previous communication with him was always good too, with no delays replying to me.This is the second time I have used this firm, and I’d happily recommend them to anyone else.

With the weather warming up but my five year old car not cooling too well i decided on a visit to have the air con regassed. I booked in to Mr Tyre at Cannock and the mechanic spent some time pumping the gas in, but was unable to get any cool air out of the vents. The mechanic suggested i get the air con repairef, sucked the gas back out, and didnt charge me, which i thought was honourable.Looked online for local auto air con specialists and found Cool Car so filled in the online form which i thought was a really good idea and a timesaver. Being a weekend Alison explained they were really busy and Dave would be unlikely to fit a repair in for me, but a time was arranged for me to call at their home.I called round at the appointed time and expected bad news but literally 20 minutes later Dave had resolved the problem which was a fuse issue.Immensely grateful to Dave and Alison for squeezing me into their busy day and resolving my problem very quickly. Dave is a very professional guy and made me really at ease in what was a stressful time and a potentially expensive bill.I would have been waiting around three weeks for a diagnostic at the dealership where Dave charged half of that and cured the problem very quickly.My advise to anyone in Northwest Birmingham Cannock, Tamworth etc with car aur con problems – make Alison and Dave your first call. You won’t be disappointed
